Programs

We at Master Park's Champion Taekwondo Center are of the belief that Taekwondo is and can be a lifelong journey.  Our students practice for years, not just weeks or months.  Anyone can do Taekwondo, regardless of your age, body-type or athletic abilities.  However, each age group has its own unique needs and through our program offerings we seek to address the needs of each particular group.

Little Tigers

This program is designed for students between the ages of four and six. It is a high-energy, fast-paced Taekwondo program that fosters the development and improvement of:

  • coordination
  • balance
  • focus

Patient, enthusiastic and qualified instructors teach by reinforcement and foster confidence, self-control and a yes-I-can attitude in all of their students. The Little Tigers program is an excellent way to get a preview of the regular Taekwondo program and prepare your child for success in working towards their black belts.

Children's Program

This program is for students in elementary and middle school. It is in this program that students begin to study traditional forms, basic movements, sparring and self-defense. Taekwondo is an excellent physical activity can boost your child's performance in other sports as well as their physical well-being by improving their:

  • balance
  • flexibility
  • conditioning

Classes are structured to build confidence and to teach the tenets of Taekwondo--courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and the indomitable spirt. Students learn the importance of setting goals (such as working towards their next belt) and the ultimate satisfaction of achieving them. Enthusiastic, qualified instructors will motivate and encourage your student to strive to do their best every step of the way.

Adult Program

This program is geared towards adults and teens. Taekwondo provides the one-two punch of a full-body workout coupled with meditation at the end of class, which makes it an excellent way to get those feel-good endorphins flowing while at the same time improving your physical well-being by:

  • losing weight
  • reducing stress
  • increasing fitness

Through the study of Taekwondo, students improve their self-confidence, focus and self-discipline. Enthusiastic, qualified instructors will motivate and encourage you to strive to do their best every step of the way

Sparring Program

This program is for students who are interested in competition sparring. Students practice contact sparring while learning about proper footwork, timing, technique and strategy. Lessons are reinforced through the use of free sparring, reaction drills, timing drills, distance drills and conditioning. Expect a great workout and learn that Olympic Sparring is more than just fighting. Students are required to get permission from Master Park prior to enrolling in this program.
