You Are What You Eat: Super Foods

Some fruits are also considered superior foods such as blueberries.  They are antioxidant leaders and include approximately 4 grams of fiber per cup as well as a good dose of vitamin C.  Blueberries also have cancer protective ellagic acid, and may boost your brain health and vision.  Kiwifruit is considered the most nutrient dense fruits of all.  This fruit has more potassium than a banana, twice the vitamin C and fiber of a small orange, plus folate, magnesium, vitamin E, copper and lutein (a compound that fights aging)

Instead of eating an unhealthy lunch or dinner, take this opportunity to eat some foods that offer you superior health.  Make a salad and include grilled chicken, tomatoes, broccoli, slices of avocado with light dressing and top it off by making your own fruit salad for dessert.  You can be creative with your fruit salad and include slices of apples, kiwi, bananas, blueberries and you’ll be totally satisfied and happy that you took this challenge.  Remember, you are what you eat!
